Homework lessons

Well Bowdy made it through his first sleepover without waking us to come get him in the middle of the night. There were 4 other boys, and 2 did get picked up in the middle of the night. I'll chalk it up to him being so tired that he didn't wake up to have an issue. School has been kicking his butt along with this nasty cold that has been lingering in a few of us for over a week. This boy was still taking 1-2 hour naps each day up until school started, which is something else he is not getting during the week. I think once he gets in a rhythm and actually goes to bed on time and stays asleep, he will start feeling better. It will let us sleep more too, seems like Bowdy and Bailey are both in our bed by the morning. Good thing we bought a king. Were learning sight words and making sure he remembers his letters and sounds. Getting him to actually take the time to do it is the part we are learning right now.
Bailey is going to be right with him. She is just as excited about school as can be, and even wants to go with Bowdy on the bus to school with him. They did start some pre-school activities at the daycare, and she is excited about that. Tucker is able to get up from the middle of the floor now and start walking. This is his preferred method of getting around now. Well, that and Bowdys scooter. He wanted to ride that for ever today and protested loudly when we would pull him off. Well, thats the quick update for today. Busy week ahead for all of us and I'm off to bed after I take some cold medicine!

One pic for the road. This came from Bowdy's first turn at the ride. Bailey rode it 6 or more times, each time laughing the whole way. The ride would go up and then it would let you drop and then do it 6 or 8 times total. Well, Bowdy refused up until we were about to leave. Finally bribed him to get on it. This was the first drop in the series. You can see Bailey's face and hands in the air, then Bowdy's attempt at hands and the look on his face is priceless. Shock/fear/something. He never complained and when he got off he said it was fun and he wanted to go again.. the next time we went there.
